Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe.
